Philosophy of Training
Bethany College of Missions equips servant leaders to disciple the world’s least-reached people. We offer a Bachelor of Arts degree and a one-year certificate in cross-cultural studies. Our goal is to train people who don’t just talk about missions in a theoretical sense, but are actually effective in practicing missions.
Our training involves much more than just taking classes and earning a solid GPA. We believe that today’s cross-cultural ministers must know God’s Word and be able to share it with others, they must embrace their identity in Jesus Christ as a lover of Him and recipient of His love, and they must be able to apply new skills and understanding directly into hands-on ministry.
So, when students enroll in our program, they not only receive excellent Bible teaching, but also get to know the God who authored that Bible, and learn how to reach out in love to the people He created and wants to redeem through a relationship with Jesus Christ.
