How are Bethany missionaries supported?
Bethany missionaries are not salaried. They are committed to raising funds to cover their living and ministry expenses. They trust God while providing opportunities to churches and individuals to become involved in their ministries. Credentialed Bethany missionaries and missionary candidates are prepared to share vision, develop relationships, and provide opportunities to have a part in their work.
Many followers of Jesus Christ desire credible, effective ways to aid the cause of world missions. Many enjoy supporting missionaries who take the work and word of God to other less reached nations through Bethany International Ministries.
Bethany missionaries learn biblical and practical perspectives on raising support. They maintain high levels of integrity with their expenditures and financial reporting.
Each missionary is accountable to a field leader and an area coordinator. Together with senior staff leaders, they prepare ministry plans and budgets that are evaluated and approved annually.
- Cash and checks – Missionary support checks can be made out to Bethany International with the missionary’s name on a separate slip.
- Direct support – Support payment can be made automatically from your checking or savings account on the day of the month you choose. Ask for instructions to activate this easy-to-use method.
- Credit-card gifts – You may make convenient online credit card donations.

Tax deductions
