Our passion at Bethany International is to raise up a new generation transformed through the cross, empowered by the Spirit and deployed to serve. We are committed to bringing the Gospel to those who have not heard.

Bethany College of Missions is one of the most unique and effective missionary training programs in North America. A key reason is that students spend 16 months overseas learning a new language and culture and ministering to people. One intern writes, “On my internship, God ignited my heart, and poured into me His heart, for Cambodia. As I got to know specific people and their needs and struggles, my heart came alive with a passion to see the Kingdom of God break into the Kingdom of Cambodia.”

In partnership with national colleagues Bethany has helped to launch over 160 national missionary training schools in Africa, Asia and Latin America. These schools are sending thousands of national leaders who will launch church planting movements.

langena2Desta Langena, director of the Missionary Training School in Durame, Ethiopia states, “The Ethiopia Kale Heywet Church
was started in 1927 by Sudan Interior Mission. Today we have 6,500 churches and 5 million members. In 2001 Bethany helped us to start a Missionary Training School. The graduates have done so well that our Ethiopian Kale Heywet Church leaders want all our 2,000 evangelists to take the same training.”

Your gift assists students to complete their studies at Bethany College of Missions. Since Bethany does not utilize college loans, students pay $8,500/year themselves. As a result students graduate debt free. Your gift enables more students to take the Gospel to the unreached peoples of the world.

Also, your gift enables Bethany along with its national partners to start missionary training schools to reach Muslims, Hindus and Buddhists for Christ. Bethany and its partners seek to train 5,000 new missionaries from 2009-2014. Your gift provides the tools for nationals to see multitudes of people come to Christ.
