La Puerta de la Fe exists to delight God?s heart and extend His kingdom by transforming the Spanish-speaking world through the distribution of Christian literature, by impacting the local community for Jesus, and by maximizing contribution to the ministry of Bethany International.
History
In the 1960’s George Verwer, the founder of Operation Mobilization, founded a bookstore that today is known as La Puerta de la Fe. That bookstore has become Bethany International’s Spanish Literature Ministry, comprised of 8 retail stores and the only nationwide Christian literature distributor in Mexico. For the past 47 years La Puerta de la Fe has brought the Word of Life into all of Mexico and continues to be an example of Christian ministry expressed through business that is transforming the world for Jesus.
